Second cycle degree programme (LM) in
Mechanical Engineering (cod. 0938)
Also valid for Second cycle degree programme (LM) in Automation Engineering (cod. 0931)
Learning outcomes
The student acquires a thorough knowledge of automatic machines and robotic systems with regard to the functional architecture, the internal subsystems and components, with the general design criteria and their use.
Course contents
The course is carried out by completing the methodological knowledge related to the design of Automatic Machinery (Systematic Design Methodologies, Advanced topics on the Architectures of Automatic Machines and Buffer, analysis Cineto-Elasto-dynamics methods, advanced analysis Web Handling systems) and is given ample space to the concrete design of automatic machines groups in collaboration with companies that provide real issues.
