Course contents

The course deals with the educational process in its various structural and institutional forms, with reference to its historical development and the overall development of a pedagogical explanatory theory. 

Topics covered: phenomenological constants of the educational process. The structural and institutional forms of the process. Archetypal figures and representations educational. The family as a structural form of education: marital conflicts and identity development. Educational functions and processes of identification. The school between utopia and imaginary. Notes on the Italian school system. The school failure in the development of personal identity.

To achieve 12 credits, the Student must attend at least 44 hours for the lessons of the course of Pedagogy General 1 (12871), and in the period 28/9 / 2015- 5 / 11-2015 (lessons are held in the classroom II Via Zamboni 38 Monday and Tuesday at 9/11 11.09, and in Tibiletti, Via Zamboni 38, Thursdays 9-11) and in the period 09/11/2015 -16/12/2015 (lessons held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aula Dionysus, Via Barberia 4, 11-13). Alternatively, students must earn 12 credits, may follow after the first period (28/9 / 2015-5 / 11/2015), the rate to 6 credits of General Pedagogy 12872 prof. Caputo, to be held in the second half. This choice should be agreed with both teachers (also via e-mail) and Prof. Moscato will remain responsible for examining.

Even non-attending students may agree that choice. Non-attending students must in any case add an additional text (See indication, about text). Students must earn only 6 credits, must attend at least 22 hours. If non attending, they also must add a thrid text (see Bibliography)

NB . The bibliography may be changed at the beginning of year, depending on availability of materials in the course of drafting, if didactically more functional. The indication of bibliographic texts 4 refers to the course of General Education (5760) 12 cfu. Students pursuing the course of Pedagogy 6 cfu (12871) must meet only ever two texts, one of which is mandatory that in point a), and the second is their choice. They must take notice that the first two issues / volumes are addressed during the course of the first period (28/9 -5/11) and the second two issues in the aftermath. Students DAMS below to 6 credits must still attend only the second period (9 Nov. - 16/Dec.) Dioniso classroom, Via Barberia. The Teacher cure for them development of the General part otherwise.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods Interview. Goal of the interview is to verify the knowledge acquired, the degree of understanding of critical them, the eventual personal reflection, precision and linguistic skills of expression and argument of the student. An appeal in December, out of the booking Alma Exams, is reserved for students who have completed the frequency (14 to 18 December). For attending students it is also provided the opportunity to present a written exercise worth two credits, relative to their educational process, to be delivered by 14 December. In this case they respond to a text-only (as opposed to the two needed for 6 credits) or only on three texts (compared to the four to 12 credits), but the examination reserved for them will be held in the third week of January, always with direct booking (to allow the teacher to the correction of their relations).
