Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected: (i) to reach an in-depth knowledge of the Italian and EU laws regarding the exercise of business activity and the structure and functioning of partnerships, corporations, securities and capital markets; (ii) to understand the role of corporate and securities laws and capital markets in the financing and efficient functioning of the firm; (iii) to become acquainted with the legal and contractual strategies aimed at reducing the agency problems among firm's managers, shareholders and stakeholders; (iv) to understand the importance of protecting intellectual property rights and preserving a fair competition in a modern economy.
