Learning outcomes

Competencies on the basic quantitative tools to address economic and financial analysis for decision making processes within corporate contexts. Foundations of Intellectual Property Rights and basics of Knowledge Transfer from research to the market

Course contents

The course has two main objectives:  a) develop the basic skills to understand how a company works, through the analysis of accounting systems; b) develop the skills to understand how technology innovation unfolds within companies and how to implement it successfully at both product innovation and process innovation levels.

Assessment methods

The final exam will include: a) 2 exercises, one on the balance sheet and one on management accounting; b) 2 open questions on 'managing innovation' part; c) 15 multiple choices.
