Learning outcomes
Course offers to student opportunities for the study of Christian and Medieval architecture and sclptural decoration of some urban and rural ancient churches through historical, artistic and archaeological studies. Examines olso ecclesiastical and secular evergetism and artisan workshops.
Course contents

Christian and Medieval Archaeology and History of Art: Churches and their sculptural decorations.

Churches and elites in the Alps: evergetism, workmen in Medieval Age.
Course presents a study outlining architectural and sculptural features of some urban and rural churches in alpine territory from early middle to medieval age, with regard to evergetism and artisan workshops.
