Learning outcomes
The student will be exposed to some of the subjects that are most
fundamental in Mathematical Physics, with a preference for those
that are more useful in the applications.
Course contents
The syllabus is divided in two parts, roughly corresponding to the
two semesters:
- Elements of Hamiltonian mechanics, kinetic theory and statistical mechanics
- Elements of probability and information theory
