Learning outcomes

- critical reflexion about cultural and productive processes concerning fashion
- contextualization of fashion in contemporary cultural reality
- reflective employ of aesthetic cathegories
- consciousness of the relationship among taste, costume, social roles and personal identity

Course contents

Title: Identity and representation: between art and fashion.
Part I: Simmel, Gombrich and the personal identity between fashion and portrait.
Part II: fashion as representation of identity.
Beginning of lessons: 01/X/2009.
