The services are organised through the central governance of the Research Division (ARIC) and delivered in synergy with the network of Research Managers working in departmental and inter-departmental structures.
Processes and services may differ in relation to specific funding lines, to support the proposal submission phase and the implementation of funded projects, and for the management of cross-cutting aspects.
Research Programming and Policies
Identification of thematic and interdisciplinary opportunities of interest to the university's scientific community, support in drafting contributions to policies and policy documents, stakeholder mapping, participation in strategic working tables.
Dissemination and training
In relation to European Commission policy documents, grants and funding opportunities, planning techniques and cross-cutting issues such as responsible research and innovation and open science.
Planning
Support to research teams in drafting project ideas and, for European competitive programmes, also in setting up the consortium.
Negotiation
Support for drawing up the financing contract.
Management and reporting
Support for managing the legal, financial and administrative aspects of the project throughout its implementation.
