How to improve your Italian language

If you are a student interested in studying at the University of Bologna, find out about the various opportunities for improving your Italian.

Sit an Italian language guidance test

This simple test will allow you to assess the level of your Italian language skills.

The test does not replace the Italian language test required to enrol in 1st and 2nd cycle degree programmes nor the online test required to sign up for Italian language courses at the University Language Centre.

Sign up for an Italian language course at the University Language Centre (in Italian)

The University of Bologna runs Italian language courses at the University Language Centre, for international students on exchange programmes or enrolled in a degree programme. In the first semester of  A.Y. 2021/22 Italian language courses will be available in the classroom and online.

Grab the chance to attend an Italian language MOOC

The University of Bologna delivers an Italian as a second language MOOC on Unibook (Unibo Open Knowledge).
Connect to Unibook, select the course: Modern Languages ITA101, and follow the instructions to enrol.
