Internal users
To request books not owned by the Library, send an email or fill in the form, including as much information as possible; to request articles or parts of books, send an email, fill in the form, or use the Nilde service.
As regulated by current copyright legislation or by signed license agreements, the user will receive the printed copy and not the pdf file of the requested document.
The service is free (unless refund requests are made by the lending library) and reserved for the institutional users of the Library.
Other Libraries
- InterLibrary Loan: the library provides the InterLibrary Loan service to other Italian and international libraries. The materials held by the library are listed in the catalogue of the Bologna Section of the National Library Service. Requests can be forwarded via email or by using the Sebina Open Library module. The service is free for libraries that are part of the Bologna Section of the National Library Service (SBN). Other libraries that do not provide the same reciprocal service can be asked to reimburse the shipment costs.
- Document Delivery: the library provides the Document Delivery service to other Italian and international libraries. The materials held by the library are listed in the Italian Union Catalogue of Serials (ACNP). Document Delivery requests can be forwarded either by using the NILDE programme, or via email. The service is free for libraries that are part of the Bologna Section of the National Library Service (SBN) and for those that use NILDE. Other libraries who do not provide the same reciprocal service can be asked to reimburse the shipment and copying costs.
