Reproduction of Library Material and use of the IT equipment

The regulations in force in the Food Science Library

The Library hosts two computers for its users, provided for consulting the University’s bibliographic resources. Electric plug sockets and server connection sockets are also provided so that users can connect their own mobile devices to the network. Finally, the entire area is covered by the University’s wi-fi network.

There are no photocopying machines for students to use in the Library. Anyone who needs to reproduce documents must go to the student’s office or private photocopying service providers.

According to the copyright legislation in force, up to a maximum of 15% of the books and magazines  owned by the Library can be reproduced.


The IT equipment of the Library and the Computer Science Lecture hall must not be used to copy the Library’s CDs and DVDs, or to save all or part of these on mobile devices.
Additionally, the Library’s computers must not be used for personal reasons, even if related to teaching or learning. Users wishing to use computers for personal reasons must use the equipment in the Computer Science Lecture hall.
