Historical-biographical profile: Gianfranco Masi was born in Bologna in 1931 and died in 2020. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence in the late 1950s alongside figures such as Adalberto Libera, Ludovico Quaroni and Italo Gamberini. His production spans the entire world of architecture and town planning, with projects in the residential, commercial, business, sports, entertainment, hospitality, educational, welfare and religious spheres, detailed plans, and also design works.
