Course contents
Ethnography of the professions
The study of professions require a
field research. Professional contexts are to
be studied according to a
methodology ethnographic and anthropological because each group
is a real professional tribes
and as such should
be studied.
The myth of professional expertise has
made us forget that in addition to
technical and operational knowledge, serving only to learn a trade, there are other
dimensions of which training is not
concerned. These
dimensions apply to registers of communication, awareness of the role and
character. They forget
that each of us is a person following a
profession and
our communicative
registers, the vision of
our role and
personal characteristics determine
the professional
services.
