Learning outcomes
Chemical bonding and intermolecular interactions: a schematic overview” We will recall the basic principles of chemical bonding starting from atomic orbitals to describe covalent, ionic and metallic bonds. Molecular orbital theory will be reviewed. Finally main kinds of intermolecular interactions will be analyzed.
