Learning outcomes
The student upon completion of this course should be able to know the main kidney disease: Particular attention should be directed to primitive renal abnormalities and renal alterations in course of systemic disease.
The student must have knowledge of the basic elements of epidemiology, pathogenesis, classification, histopathology, clinical, laboratory and instrumental setting, differential diagnosis and therapy of renal disease.
In addition, the student must have acquired a methodology for kidney patient approach and to its management in acute, chronic disease and in terms of follow-up.

Teaching methods
The end-of-course examination is designed to assess the achievement of the following educational objectives:
- To know in detail the pathogenesis and the clinical presentation of the main diseases with primitive or secondary renal involvement.
- To know the main concepts of instrumental diagnostics for the recognition of diseases with renal involvement.
- To know the main concepts of histology and histopathology of treated kidney disease.
- To learn about the essential elements of the treatment of diseases with renal involvement.
Assessment methods
The exam will be held in written examination with questions focusing on educational objectives listed above, with the final vote in thirtieths. .
To support the exam, on-line registration is required, respecting the provided deadlines. Those who don't could subscribe within the scheduled date are required to notify promptly to the Lecturers before the examination. Will be faculty of the Lecturer to admit them to the test. Verbalization of the evaluation obtained will takes place at the test itself.
