Teaching methods
The course is composed by frontal lessons and practical lessons.
In order to permit a full participation to the practical classes, practical lessons will be performed dividing students in four groups, each one receiving the same hours of practice.
During practical classes in the presence of animals, student must wear a clean green and / or white coat as medical setting, as well as suitable footwear as required by the Department's Safety Regulation.
Any further DPI will be provided by the teacher.
The practical training aims the student to acquire a correct logic-deductive approach to the management of surgical case.
Assessment methods
The exam consists of a written test and an oral test, both must be passed in the same exam session. A negative result in the written test does not allow to sit the oral test. Written test (1 hour) is composed by open and/or multichoice questions. Both tests will be considered passed if a minimal marks of 18/30 is obtained.
Particular attention is made to the student's ability to reason and to cross-link the information acquired by different teaching in previous years.
Registration and examination dates: The student can register exclusively using the online Alma Esami system.
The final mark examation will be recorded by Dr. Giuseppe Spinella for Erasmus students, that have opted only for this specific subject within their learning agreement and not for the entire integrated course.
