Functions:

- providing historical, systematic and ethnological consultancy on objects of musical investigation for scientific research or popularisation purposes);

- transcription of scores and music texts for historical-critical investigation and performance;

- doing historical and ethnological field-work in order to identify and retrieve the tangible and intangible cultural music heritage (collection and analysis of repertoires and oral musical traditions).

Registrar (officer/director)

Functions:

- inventorying, cataloguing and describing the musical heritage (books, scores, audio-video documents, archive documentation, musical instruments, etc.);

- devising maintenance plans and seeing to conservation and restoration;

- arranging projects to promote (appreciation of) the musical heritage;

- librarian, archivist and documentarist in musical libraries and archives, or in musical sections of general libraries and archives.

Specialised editor

Functions:

- editing scores, texts for music, texts on music, and texts accompanying audio and video documents;

- editing specialist columns;

- music criticism.

Assistant to artistic management

Functions:

- participating in the artistic planning and production of musical events;

- handling communications (press office), promotion of music appreciation and education of the public;
