Designs and implements teaching programmes and learning activities in the field of foreign languages, cultures and literature.

Career opportunities:

State middle and senior schools (having obtained the state teaching qualification as required by the applicable ministerial provisions)

TRANSLATOR OF LITERARY TEXTS AND TEXT REVIEWER

Main functions:

Editing activities to harmonise language and style and verify the consistency of contents;

Translations;

Bibliographical research.

Career opportunities:

As an employee or on a freelance basis, in publishing firms, editorial services, newspapers, television channels, advertising firms

LINGUISTICS AND LITERARY EXPERT IN POST-COLONIAL CULTURES AND GENDER STUDIES

Main functions:

Plans, organises, manages and assesses cultural events and projects and thematic learning paths in collaboration with other professional figures;

Studies/research and consulting on specific projects concerning cultural cooperation and gender studies;

Linguistic and intercultural mediation.

Career opportunities:

Public and private cultural and third sector institutes

International cultural foundations and institutes.

Access to further study

It gives access to third cycle studies (Dottorato di ricerca/Scuole di specializzazione) and master universitario di secondo livello.

Experiences abroad

In addition to the normal opportunities to participate in exchange programmes and to carry out work placements or internships abroad (e.g. in preparation for your final exam), the programme also offers a one-year mobility period at Université Paris Nanterre, at the end of which it is possible to obtain the Unibo-Paris Nanterre double degree (second-cycle degree + Master).
