Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students learn how to focus on service business models and service innovation strategies applied to business models. The class analyses how successful companies have reinvented their business models sometimes challenging common wisdom about strategic service management. The course also highlights business strategies and architectures to capture the opportunities offered by the digital marketplace and the different applications of technology to support business choices.

Teaching methods
Acquisition of key concepts and training with analytical tools will take place through lectures, group discussion, case studies, and readings. Teamwork will help students experiment with strategic problem solving and decision making in real business cases.
Assessment methods
Written exam, with a multiple choice section and, possibly, an open question/exercise. For those who cannot attend the exam, it is possible to have an oral exam on the Teams platform
Group work finalized to prepare and present a business case
Exam grades can be refused.
Grades are defined as follows
• <18 insufficient
• 18-23 sufficient
• 24-27 good
• 28-30 very good
• 30 e lode excellent
