Learning outcomes
At the end of the Seminar students will have acquired specific skills relating to the field of fashion cultures, with a particular focus on the analysis and interpretation of complex phenomena.
Course contents
Workshop: Creative Research Methods
This practical seminar introduces students to a variety of creative research methods, with a particular focus on visual and arts-based approaches. The extended sessions will be organised as practical workshops, during which the different methods will be introduced and experimented with. The use of creative methods in research design, data collection and analysis, and the presentation of results will be covered. Students will develop a project individually or in small groups.

Teaching methods
The course consists of practical workshops with short introductory lectures, readings, and individual or group work on research tasks. Consistent and active participation is mandatory.
Assessment methods
Attendance of at least 80 %. Final project elaboration and presentation at the end of the seminar.
Teaching tools
Handouts and other materials. Presentations (PowerPoint) and videos. To carry out the research tasks, students should have in class a device (computer/tablet) with internet access.
