The seminar will cover the basics of bibliographic research and how to correctly cite sources in the text, how to choose a thesis topic (with reference to critical-comparative and contemporary literary disciplines), how to structure the topics, and how to write an essay.
Students interested in attending the seminar are required to register using their Unibo accounts within 7 days before the start of classes using the following form: https://forms.office.com/e/9CQ3UD8Yyq
Readings/Bibliography
Study materials will be provided during the seminar.
Teaching methods
The course is based on 30 hours of lectures, during which students may be involved in individual or group exercises.
Assessment methods
The seminar does not involve an examinarion with a grade, but rather a pass/fail assessment. To pass, students are required to attend at least 12 out of 15 sessions. An attendance register will be kept. Assessment will be based on the evaluation of a short paper in which students demonstrate to have acquired the basic tools and skills needed to write a bachelor's thesis.
Teaching tools
Slides and links to databases or digital resources useful for bibliographic research and the compilation of a three-year thesis will be shown.
