Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with knowledge of the tools and techniques for proper home oral hygiene. Specifically, students will be able to:
- understand and use mechanical devices for plaque removal;
- understand and use devices for chemical plaque control;
- understand and use methods for topical fluoride prophylaxis;
- instruct patients in the most appropriate techniques for their situation;
- communicate effectively with patients to educate and motivate them;
- evaluate the effectiveness of their professional intervention;
- recognize the harm resulting from the inappropriate use of devices.

Written (18/32 points necessary to pass the test) and oral exam
