Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will know the basic operating principles of the most important medical instrumentations in a neurological laboratoy setting.
Course contents
Signal acquisition systems (transducers, amplifiers, filters, frequency response, data visualization and storing, ADC converters)
Biolectrical signal: origin and acquisition
Electrical safety for patients and operators
Defibrillator
Pressures measurmentes in a clinical setting
Echography and flussimetry
HRV (Heart Rate Variability)

Teaching methods
The course is made up of lectures with the support of Power Point presentations.
Assessment methods
The exam will be a multiple-choice quiz. An oral examination will be performed only if necessary. The final score will be weighted averaged with the scores of the other modules, to obtain the global grade.
