2. For the examinations of Persian Language and Literature 2 (ARCO), Persian Language and Literature 2 (MA), students are required to attend ONLY the second semester (february-march) of the ‘Exercises ...’ course, while attendance in the first semester is optional.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
Oral production: At the end of the lessons of the Persian Language and Linguistics Exercises 2 (integrated into the Persian Language and Linguistics 2 course), the student will be able to use the most complex pleasantries, idiomatic expressions, produce a speech of medium complexity on various topics, describe various living or working conditions, everyday situations, making use of expressions based on the learned structures, of medium complexity.
Written Production: the student will be able to write a series of sentences of medium complexity, using the structures and expressions learnt.
Listening comprehension: the student will be able to understand and interact in different situations (intermediate level), to satisfy needs of a concrete type.
Written comprehension: the student will be able to understand texts of medium complexity, of social content and of a concrete type, formulated in articulated language at an intermediate level.
The course will focus more on the Persian language (Farsi) spoken in Iran and will include numerous exercises in writing and reading of medium complexity passages, as well as listening.
