Learning outcomes

At the end of the module students will be able to:
- Understand the structure and areas of competence of the DigCompEdu framework;
- Learn about some digitally mediated teaching methodologies and technologies to support the implementation of active teaching;
- Report examples of applications of digitally ‘augmented’ teaching methodologies and technologies..

Course contents

The module content focuses on “Digital teaching methodologies and technologies.” In particular, the main topics of the module are:

1. DigCompEdu: the European reference framework for teachers' digital competences;
2. Active teaching with digital technology;
2.1 Innovating teaching with (or without) technology.

Teaching methods

Lecture with dialogue, discussion, and analysis of experiences.

Assessment methods

Eligibility for the course will be determined based on the minimum attendance requirement and the completion of any assignments requested during the course. Assessment of learning outcomes will take place during the final exam for the teaching qualification in the competitive examination category of the training program, as provided for in Article 9 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of August 4, 2023.
