Learning outcomes

He will improve knowledge related to both study and work activities, and develop skill solving specific problems, or proposing specific projects or research work. Equally, he is able to communicate to a diverse audience. and to apply his skills and update his competences within the three areas of learning envisaged by the degree course: historical-artistic and epigraphic, and methodological.
Course contents
Internships consist of a work experience that can be carried out at organizations, companies, and other international partners (including partner universities which offer job placement projects). Partners regularly publish their offers in a special database that can be consulted by students. The procedure for activating an internship is described in detail on the course pages. Please read the instructions carefully.
The curricular internship is an activity of your study plan that allows you to achieve practical skills and university credits (CFU). You may carry it out either at premises of the University of Bologna or at external public or private institutions that have signed an internship agreement with the University, in Italy or abroad.
The procedure to be followed is described at the website of your course of study, at Studying/Internship page, and is carried out through SOL-Internship [https://studenti.unibo.it/sol/welcome.htm] platform.
The internship abroad can be carried out also by applying to the exchange programme Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship [https://www.unibo.it/en/study/international-experiences/internship-abroad/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship]
He content will be agreed with the Host Institution and verified by the academic tutor, and should correspond to the objectives of the Course of Study.
Orientation meetings are held at the beginning of each academic year with also the presence of social partners, enabling students to orient themselves in the different opportunities offered by the institutions.
Readings/Bibliography
No reading is required, besides the activities required by the Internship.
There are no texts to suggest, but they will be indicated from time to time by the host institution.
Teaching methods
Internship is a work experience where methodologies to acquire and consolidate specific competences and skills are individually agreed for each student between the student, the host institution and the university tutor and are formalized in the internship program, at the discretion of the host institution.
To be agreed on a case-by-case basis according to the internship experience planned.
As concerns the teaching methods of this course unit, all students must attend Module 1, 2 [https://www.unibo.it/en/services-and-opportunities/health-and-assistance/health-and-safety/online-course-on-health-and-safety-in-study-and-internship-areas] on Health and Safety online, required by Host Institutions for insurance reasons.
Students with SLD or temporary or permanent disabilities. It is necessary to contact the relevant University office (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en ) with ample time in advance: the office will propose some adjustments, which must in any case be submitted 15 days in advance to the lecturer, who will assess the appropriateness of these in relation to the teaching objectives.
Assessment methods
Assessment of the Internship experience (and the thershold for the pass/non pass finale grade) is fixed individually in the internship program. The host institution will certify the activities carried out and complete an online survey questionnaire. Students are also required to complete a final questionnaire and briefly summarize the results of the experience to the responsible teacher according to what is contained in the instructions on the links above.
Assesment will be done by the academic tutor through contacts with the Host Institution and will consist of monitoring the established program. At the end, the documents entered (attendance diary, final report and questionnaires filled in by the intern and the Institution) will be checked, then minutes will be taken. Minutes are taken by the indicated academic tutor.
At the end of the internship, your academic tutor will evaluate the activity. With positive evaluation, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.
In case of an internship abroad in the frame of an Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship programme, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.
