Learning outcomes

This is an optional introductory course in microeconomics for newly-admitted LMEPP students whose economics background is not strong enough for the LM level. Upon admission, the admissions committee may recommend students to take this course. At the end of the course, students master the minimal economics background that is needed to succeed in the more advanced economics courses offered at LMEPP.

Teaching methods

The course will be conducted through traditional lectures. Attendance is strongly advised for students with no background in Economics.

Assessment methods

In order to be admitted to the final exam, students must attend at least 80% of the lectures (attendance will be kept lecture-by-lecture).
The final exam will be held during the last lecture of the course and will test the material covered in class.
