Course contents
Instructor: Dott.ssa Lisa Gozzi
The aim of the course is to acquire skills and competences corresponding to the C1/C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The goal is to obtain a good level of specialization in Spanish through the analysis of real documents on different topics related to the Spanish and Hispanic American language and culture. Linguistic, grammatical and lexical skills, both written and oral, will be deepened through exercises and productions. In addition, the main theoretical contents related to the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) will be presented, as well as some teaching units of the ELE manuals will be analyzed, in order to detect the main elements and the skills that are developed in them and the fundamental criteria for their design.

Teaching methods
During the course, explanations, practical exercises and group activities will be used and proposed. Multimedia tools and interactive materials will be used according to the needs of each activity.
The active participation of students will be required through questions and exercises. The professor will provide, during the practical exercises, specific feedback to improve skills and abilities.
Assessment methods
The exam of Esercitazioni consists of a 120-minute written test which comprehends the following parts: 1) a short translation, 2) vocabulary exercises related to the course content, and 3) a short written text.
PLEASE NOTE: it is mandatory to pass the exam of “Esercitazioni” to access the exam of professor Peñín Fernández. The grade of “Esercitazioni” component is worth 1/3 of the final grade.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Erasmus+ (incoming)
ERASMUS+ students should contact the instructor for Spanish Language Exercises (Lm) (Lisa Gozzi) and the professor for Spanish Language (lezioni frontali, Natalia Peñín Fernández) within the first two weeks of the course to be properly informed about the required language level, the programs, and the exam methods for both parts of the course. Erasmus+ students who have not contacted both Gozzi and Peñín Fernández at least two months before the exam (May-June) will not be admitted to the exam for both parts of the course.
