Ante delictum prevention procedure (anti-mafia code: Legislative Decree 159/2011), but also the rules of the TULPS and other special laws (such as those relating to sporting events).

Course contents
The introduction of the course will be dedicated to the evolution of prevention system, from marginal deviance to organized crime and, more generally, serious crimes.
The central part of the course will deal with procedure for applying preventive measures.
Particular attention will be paid to the confrontation with the italian criminal trial and to protection of procedural guarantees.

The topics will be analyzed trought main sentences about prevention measures.
Readings/Bibliography
The course is based on the analysis of leding cases by Supreme Courts.
The decisions will be analysed in the course of the lessons, and discussed together with the students.
Text and materials of the cases discussed during the course will be posted on Virtuale.
Teaching methods
The teaching method will follow in most part a problem-based approach.
The implies that students will be strongly encouraged to attend to the lessons, and to examine and discuss the cases that will be submitted by the teacher.
Assessment methods
Oral exam.
