Course contents

The tutor will propose texts of various lengths and types, with the aim of strengthening the acquisition of grammatical skills related to the structures presented both during the Language and Linguistics 3 course and during the 3-A exercises.

Written, audio and video materials will be analysed in class, errors will be commented on and structures will be re-illustrated if necessary.

In the first semester, the tutor will provide prompts for creative writing exercises in written, audio or video form for different types of media.

In the second semester, the tutor will hold a subtitling workshop, introducing the theory of translation for audiovisual products, illustrating the free software used, and proceeding with work with a view to the possible use of the products in a film festival.

Teaching methods

The materials will be provided by the trainer and made available on Virtuale.

Assessment methods

At the end of the course, the tutor will provide an assessment of the students' commitment and performance. The assessment will be communicated to the Language and Linguistics professor.
