Learning outcomes
The aim of the Dental Materials course - internship in Prosthetic Technologies, is to show the technological laboratory procedures that make use of certain dental materials and forming systems. At the end of the course the student, after having learned the technological principles of the laboratory, will be able to use them correctly in some of the most frequently encountered applications. At the end of the internship, the student has successfully attended the service assigned to him and therefore possesses a preparation that allows him to recognize, face and solve simple cases related to dental laboratory problems.
Course contents
Impression materials: develop an impression in alginate, polyvinylsiloxane or other elastomer; use a laboratory silicone key;

Practical demonstrations of CAD / CAM processing of metals, ceramics and prosthetic reconstruction composites;
Practical demonstrations of the use of metals and metal alloys for prosthetic rehabilitation
