Learning outcomes

This course provides an interdisciplinary perspective to the study of sport and physical activity. The student learns the complex interaction between mind, brain and body during exercise, and how to integrate the psychological and biological sciences to better understand sport performance, sedentary behaviour and physical activity

Basic principles of psychobiology

Perception of effort and other sensations experienced during exercise

Psychobiological models of sport performance

Psychobiological models of physical activity behavior

Mental fatigue and sport performance
