Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student knows the most suitable tools to understand and analyse the principles of circular economy and sustainable development policies with special reference to the agro-food-evenvironmental system. The student knows the essential aspects of Agenda Onu 2030 for Sustainable Development, the International Organisatios and Cooperation to provide at global at local level food security.

5. Sustanability and solidarity: food loss and food waste, diets

Integrated Lessons:
With the aim of deepening the discussion on the topics covered and developing students' skills in delivering oral and written presentations, the course includes seminars and group exercises in the form of a Challenge. In the Challenge, students will tackle a real or simulated problem related to the course topics. Following a structured approach provided during the lessons, the groups will analyze the problem, develop innovative solutions, and present their final results. The activity is designed to stimulate critical thinking, collaborative work, and the practical application of acquired knowledge.

Assessment methods
The knowledge and skills acquired during the course will be assessed as follows:
a. For attending students, in addition to the Challenge—which will account for one third of the final grade—there will be a discussion lasting approximately 20 minutes on the course content and the indicated bibliography, which will account for the remaining two thirds of the final grade.
b. For non-attending students, the assessment will include the submission of a written paper addressing and discussing a topic related to the course themes, to be prepared according to the provided guidelines. This will account for one third of the final grade. Additionally, there will be a discussion lasting approximately 30 minutes on the course content and the indicated bibliography, which will account for the remaining two thirds of the final grade.In addition to the knowledge acquired, the evaluation will consider analytical skills, clarity of expression, mastery of specific terminology, and the logical ability to connect topics. The maximum achievable score is 30 with honors. The exam is considered passed with a minimum score of 18/30.
