Andrea Segrè

Professor of Circular economy and sustainable development policie since 2000, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture (2005-12) and Chairman of the Department of Food Science and Technology (2012-15). Founder of Last Minute Market, academic spin off, and of Zero Waste Campaign, professor Segrè is scientific director of Waste Watcher International Observatory on Food and Sustainability. Prof. Segrè served as president of Fondazione Edmund Mach-San Michele all'Adige, Trento (2015-20) and of Centro Agroalimentare of Bologna (2012-22). Special Advisor of the Mayor of Bologna on Urban Food Policies since June 2022. Pellegrino Artusi International Prize (2012), San Giusto d'Oro Award (2020), Don Pino Puglisi International Award (2022).
