Assessment methods

Practical Test Only

The purpose of the test is to assess the student's ability to use IT tools and prepare a text, a spreadsheet, and a presentation.

The assessment is based on:

  • a test with four multiple-choice quizzes on fundamentals of computer science. A minimum of three-quarters of the answers must be answered correctly to qualify for the next test.
  • work assignments to be completed based on the texts and instructions provided: one in Word, one in Excel, and one in PowerPoint.

The maximum score achievable with all correct assignments is 30/30 cum laude.

Each paper will be assigned a score from 0 to 30, and the evaluation will be based on its compliance with the requirements and its completeness, scaling the evaluation according to the required complexity. The minimum score for each paper is 18/30, and the final grade will be calculated by averaging the three scores obtained. To obtain honors, a paper score of at least 30/30 honors must be achieved.

Students have 90 minutes for the entire practical test. During the test, the use of support materials such as textbooks, notes, and computer media is permitted, with the exception of artificial intelligence tools.

“Students with learning disorders and\or temporary or permanent disabilities: please, contact the office responsible (https://site.unibo.it/studenti-con-disabilita-e-dsa/en/for-students) as soon as possible so that they can propose acceptable adjustments.
