Assessment methods

Learning assessment is based on the achievement of the learning objectives covered in class.

Learning assessment, therefore, consists of an oral exam.

The oral exam includes a discussion of topic of student's choice and a minimum of 3 question about lesson's topics.

The use of cell phones or supporting materials such as handouts or notes is not permitted during the oral exam.

To take the exam, students must register on the appropriate lists published on Alma Esami.

The final grade is expressed in thirtieths.

Grading examination:

Preparation on a very limited number of topics covered in the course and analytical ability that emerges only with the assistance of the instructor, generally using correct language → 18-19;

Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and independent analysis ability only on purely executive questions, generally using correct language → 20-24;

Knowledge of a broad range of topics covered in the course, ability to independently make critical analysis choices, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29;

Substantially comprehensive knowledge of the topics covered in the course, ability to independently make critical analysis and connection choices, full mastery of specific terminology, and ability to argue and self-reflect → 30-30L.
