Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have a preparation that allows to face and solve simple cases of orthodontics. In particular, the student is able to: apply the theoretical principles learned during the previous years; diagnose malocclusions of I, II, III Angle's Class and set the therapy; make a differential diagnosis among different malocclusions and know the advantages and limitations of each possible choice of therapy.

Review of the diagnostic and therapeutic principles learned in
previous courses.
Discussion of the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of clinical
cases, with particular emphasis on the advantages and disadvantages
of possible alternative treatment approaches.

Assessment methods
The final assessment consists of an oral examination aimed at evaluating the achievement of the competencies outlined in the course learning objectives.
