Teaching methods

Monographic course on the set of literary thought, in the classroom: translations and commentary. The texts of the statements will be provided at the beginning of the course, but they are already present in the text of Owen.

Assessment methods

In the last week of the course, a written tutorial (which will be part of the exam evaluation for 1/4) will be offered on one of the statements on poetry of a studied author, the student will have to give a personal comment and a reasonable translation. It is necessary to contextualize historically and literally. The oral test will be about the part of the history of poetry. Verification will be made orally for the part of poetry history. You will also have to write and recite a short contemporary poem and comment on the lexicon and grammar choices of the author.

Tests for non-attendants will be based on the history of poetry and the analysis of the enunciations studied in the course, which will have to be discussed on the basis of a paper (no more than 5 pages) that must be sent at least one week before the exams. You will also have to write and recite a short contemporary poem and comment on the lexicon and grammar choices of the author.

The achievement by the student of an organic vision of the topics dealt with in the lesson and of the knowledge provided for the joint discipline of their critical use, the demonstration of the possession of an expressive and specific language will be evaluated with excellence marks.

A mnemonic knowledge of matter and synthesis and analysis skills articulated in a correct, but not always appropriate, language will lead to discrete evaluations. Inappropriate formative and / or inappropriate language, though in a context of minimal knowledge of the exam material, will lead to vows that will not suffice.

Lack of training, inappropriate language, lack of orientation within the bibliographic materials provided by the course will be evaluated negatively.
