Learning outcomes
Students will learn how to face some basic problems of statistical
inference, simple and multiple regression, and to draw a sample
from a population with some fixed properties.
Course contents
Some elements of exploratory statistics. Statistical inference: point estimation, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing. The main sampling methods. Linear regression with two and more variables.
