Learning outcomes
Al term of the course, the student has an acquaintance of relative base to the process to interdisciplinare of the Architectonic Restoration, to the constructive complexity of the historical buildings, to the location of the characteristics of the historical materials of the place, to the employed techniques. In particular, it is able to analyze the architectonic good with the attempt to develop a specific lexicon; to acquire a shared communicable code with the Conservative Architects; to manage thematic planks like pre-plan instrument; to carry out reliefs and representation CAD of parts of architectonic organisms.

1) Article 9 of the Italian Constitution. The protection of historic and artistic heritage in the Basic Law of the Republic; 2) Archaeological Restoration: the action of R. Stern of the Coliseum in 1807, the restoration of the Arch of Titus in 1818 (Stern and Valadier); intervention by Valadier at the Coliseum in 1826, 3) The July Monarchy. French Revolution and vandalism, France and the "architects of empiricism." Inspectors General of Monuments: Vitet, Merimee and reintegtrazione criteria. E. E. Teaching methods
The lessons will be carried out by means of projections of files in Power Point format and will be put on of the students (material didactic), in the appropriate dedicated site. Examples of architectonic restoration will be commented, leaving from the c.d. “archaeological restoration” until the “critical restoration conservative”.Some lessons will be able to preview the participation to fairs specialized in restoration and/or thematic exhibitions, others will be developed with the aid of restorers in order to afford to the students “to feel” some materials used in the restoration (laboratory) and, consequently, to develop an acquaintance deepened approximately problematic inborn in the direct analysis of the component materials the good and their compatibility with those of restoration.
Assessment methods
Presentation of elaborating (optional), relative to a plan of architectonic restoration, an author, a topic of restoration (with reference to the examined historical periods during the lessons), to possibly agree beforetime. The examination, oral, will concern on the dealt arguments and will stretch to verify the learning of the candidates with specific reference to the critical reading of the architectonic assets (restored or in phase of progettuale analysis).
