Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide a basic background on the system of live performance, with particular reference to theatre's laws, to management and relationship between demand and supply.
Course contents
The course, articulated on two units, is in blended learning mode. Unit 1 will be lecture, unit 2 will be in elearning teaching mode (online activity on moodle).
Unit 1 (lecture):
1) The system of live performance in Italy: the
course will provide a general outline of the system of live
performance in Italy, its historical origins and current
set-up.
2) Entertainment and background: plan cultural event
also means being able to identify the connection between the
projects to be carried out and the background.
3) From multiculturalism to interculturalism: the
subjet of interculturalism belong to the relevant question on
contemporary culture: the performing arts and cultural events
allow us to understand these topics better.
4) Elements of project management, communication and
cultural marketing: project management, communication theory
and cultural marketing are becoming common and indispensable work
tools for cultural operators.
Unit 2 (online activity on moodle):
1) quiz and forum
2) How to organize aculturalevent: students attending could agree a work study, even in small groups, aimedto apply the theoretical content of the course.
