Learning outcomes

The student will have the following opportunity: 

  • To KNOW and to EXPERIENCE the fundamental skills of the team sport;
  • To KNOW and to APPLY the technical regulation to organize as examining meetings or teaching;
  • To KNOW and to differentiate the roles of the players and the diagrams of game adopted from the top level team;
  • To KNOW the teaching methodology to carry out the game-sport activity for beginners.
  • To KNOW the evolution of the techniques, across that development of the ability of the players, by means of the tactical capacity to analyse the different phases and situations of the game. 
  • To USE the conventional symbols to draw, in simple shape, the game of volleyball.
  • To RECEIVE some information to prevent injuries. 

Course contents

General theory:

  • Characteristics and classification of the team sporting games.
  • Introduction to the sporting games: methodological indications for beginners.
  • Rules and philosophy of team sport.
  • Use of the conventional graphic symbols  in description of different phases and techniques.
  • The practical session in training the sporting games.
  • Working professionally as member of a technical staff in team sport.

Teaching methods

Lectures (16 hours of general  topics of team sport and 8 hours of volleyball) and practical lesson in the gym (18 hours per sport)

Practical demonstration, set of written questions and oral examination

Data Video System for sport analysis and theoretical lecturer balls and tools in the gym for practical application
