Comprehension of the main questions of aesthetic debate.

Course contents

Title of the course: The Tragedy of Truth in Beauty
n.b.: The first part of the course counts as second module of the general course in Philosophical Aesthetics.
Module contents: The tragic: from representation to conceptualization

The course will explore the development of the concept of the "tragic" in modern philosophy, also focusing on the reflection on the model of attic tragedy.

Students of Philosophical Sciences are expected to complete this module with the course of Contemporary Aesthetics (6 cfu)

Oral examination. It's possible to produce and discuss short papers.
