Course contents
The course of academic year 2010-2011 is explicitly connected, as in previous years the course “Political Communication in the Early Modern Age” already was , to the themes of the international doctorate “Political communication from antiquity to the twentieth century” (University of Frankfurt am Main, Innsbruck, Bologna, Pavia, Trento) http://web.uni-frankfurt.de/fb08/HS/Schorn/IGK/. Confronted themes and problems analyze the relationship between diffuse conceptions, political languages and “reality” in specific situations of conflict. In this sense they deal with aspects and moments of political communication, intended as conflicts over norms and values.
Through the knowledge of historiography and the direct use of primary sources, the student will acquire a familiarity and comprehension of a plurality of political languages.
Beginning of lessons: 31 January 2011 (2nd Semester, Period III)
Time and place of lessons: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 13:00-15:00, Aula Fumagalli, Piazza San Giovanni in Monte 2.
