Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students should acquire knowledge relative to the following topics: a) problems and roles of forensic neuropsychologist; b) methods of forensic neuropsychological assessment; c) evaluation of social and juridical consequences of cognitive loss
Course contents
Aim of this course is to offer to the students some knowledge both in the teoretical aspects of interaction between law and neuroscience and in the practical problems of neuropsychologits as expert witness. Main contents are: a) neuroscientific approach to normative judgment in law and justice; b) neuropsychology in criminal proceedings; c) neuropsychology in civil proceedings
