Learning outcomes

Students are provided with an in-depth knowledge of international, EU, national and local legal frameworks concerning the organisation and provision of social care and health care services.

In particular, the role of non profit organisations and social enteprises in the supply of social care and health care services will be analysed.

Attending students are allowed to prepare the final examination following the notes taken during classes. Should they regard it as necessary, they can deepen the contents provided by in the abovementioned texts. 

Teaching methods

Traditional lectures together with project works.

Assessment methods

There will be a final examination that is aimed at assessing students' knowledge and skills acquired during classes.

The details of the final examination will be communicated during the first class.

Attending students will have the possibility of choosing between an interview or the drafting of a working paper.

Teaching tools

Teaching power point presentations as well as papers, articles, regulations and rulings will be provided on the course's web site.
