Learning outcomes

The course aims at providing knowledge about:

1. the capacity to analyze and understand the organization of the State from the sources of law to Constitutional jurisdiction;

2. the capacity to deal with the principles of the constitutional system;

3. the capacity to understand the meaning of the institutional changes and their consequences.

Course contents

The course will focus on the following topics:  

The Italian legal systems and the constitutional rights; The State; The international and European systems; The political power; The Parliament; The President of the Republic; The Government; The sources of law; Rights and freedoms; The regional and local political bodies; The Public Administration; The judicial system; The Constitutional court.
