Daniela Cavallini is an Associate Professor at Bologna University (Dep. of Political and Social Sciences) where she teaches "Judiciary Regulation System" and "Justice in Contemporary Societies". She became a lawyer in 2001, a full-time University researcher in 2002 and an associate professor in 2016. Since 2002 she has been working at the Centre for Judicial Studies under the supervision of prof. Giuseppe Di Federico. Her main research interests and publications are in the field of judicial reforms, the status of judges and prosecutors, the organization of judicial offices, also in comparative perspective. She actively collaborates with the Bologna University Law Department and the Research Institute on Legal Informatics and Judicial Systems (IGSG-Cnr). She has participated in several national and international research projects and collaborated with various international organizations, like the Council of Europe and UNODC.
