Since 2016, the University of Bologna has a reporting tool, designed to offer a new measuring approach that allows to read the contribution of the different institutional activities carried out to achieve its sustainable development goals.
The report, redacted by the University's Technical Scientific Committee for Social Reporting in collaboration with the University's academic and administration community, provides an approach that helps represent the direct and indirect impact produced by the university's defining activities – teaching, research, third mission, institution – in order to contribute to the achievement of the 17 sustainable development goals set by the UN.
