Recording the position of the upper jaw in space has always been a fundamental requirement in dentistry. This invention provides a simple solution to a need that is currently addressed by complex and costly methods, perfectly aligning with the ongoing digitalization of dental workflows.

The invention is a dental device that digitally records the position of the upper arch for mounting maxillae in a virtual articulator. It features a horseshoe-shaped structure, adaptable with silicone, and easily scannable with an intraoral scanner. A second component, mounted perpendicularly, enables alignment with anatomical reference planes. Once the silicone has hardened, the device is scanned to produce a digital file that integrates the arch's anatomy with external references, streamlining the transition to a fully digital dental workflow.

By reestablishing the "maxilla - parallelepiped - occlusal planes" relationship, the device enables easy articulator mounting using digital workflows.
